The most amazing Banana Bread EVER.

I love me some Banana Bread. I've had many different breads in my 30 years and honestly this is my favorite by far! It has an awesome banana flavor and it's insanely moist. It's a recipe we will make over and over again, it's just that good.

I had some over ripe bananas just waiting to be made into delicious bread. It was actually probably my 5th bunch of bananas I had saved with good intentions. This time they were not going to waste!!

The boys helped me mash, mix and whip up this delicious bread in no time!

My recommendation is that you try this bread as soon as possible. Like today. You won't regret it!

This recipe makes one loaf. I prefer to double or occasionally triple it so that we can freeze some loaves for future banana bread cravings. We all get those, don't we?

Banana Bread

1/2 cup of butter, melted
1 cup of white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 cup sour cream
2 medium bananas, mashed
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional, we don't use them)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla, mix well. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt, stir into the butter mixture until smooth. Finally, fold in the sour cream, walnuts and bananas. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.

3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Allow bread to cool completely before cutting.
You're welcome. I know you'll be thanking me later!
