Loot Crate

Have you heard of Loot Crate

It's a monthly subscription aimed more towards the geeks/gamers in your life. For about (or a little under) $20 a month you get a box shipped to you filled with a bunch of random things for whatever theme they choose that month.

I decided to get a subscription for David and the boys to share. I purchased the 3 month subscription and it was about $55. Their first box arrived a couple of weeks ago!
They sent a little card telling you what you were being sent, which was nice for Dawson, who loves to "research" everything.

This is what was inside the box.

A Star Wars Pop! Vinyl Bobblehead. I think they have several they send out, so it's random which one you get. We recieved Boba Fett.

A Hexbug Nano Micro Robot. The boys love these things, so they were super excited to get another one.

A Dead Space 3 Wall Graphic. Meh, don't really care so much about that, but that's ok.

A Secret Code Wristband. David loved this wristband! He put it on right away. It has the old school secret code from the good old days of video gaming.

2 Collectible Star Wars Postcards. The boys were pretty excited about these. They love their Star Wars!

Finally, a Live Long and Prosper Button. Dylan liked this button, although I don't think he knows what it means. He just likes buttons.

I was pleasantly surprised with our Loot Crate haul! It was well worth the money. I'm actually debating on buying the older boys their own subscriptions for their Birthdays. So if you have a geek/gamer in your life, check it out! They would to get a monthly Loot Crate!

  1. I have no idea what any of those things are! I guess that is what happens when you don't have boys. Looks like you got a lot of the money!

    1. If you ever have a boy I'm going to have to take a weekend and teach you boy things. ;)
