Doc McStuffins (McBeanie) Stethoscope

Mr. Beanie is a bit in love with Doc McStuffins.

The only issue with being in a love with a show that has a strong female lead is that everything to buy is pink and purple. Which isn't ok for a boy that hates "Girl Stuff". So I decided to make him his own Doc McStuffins things and dubbed him "Doc McBeanie".

First I started out with the Stethoscope. If you've seen the show, you know this is the most important part of being a Doc!

Supplies:
A headband
Ribbon
4 different colors of felt (one for the outer circle, the inner circle, the bandaid and for the heart, yeah... I forgot to take a picture of my pink)
Glue
A marker

First I cut a piece of ribbon. I didn't really measure, but it was long enough that when folded in half it reached from Corbin's chest to his waist. Apply glue in a line in the center of the headband and wrap the ribbon around it, so it's double layered.

Cut 2 small circles of white felt out. I just eyeballed this, so I don't have measurements. Glue the circles onto the end of the ribbon.

You'll end up with something like this.

Make a circle for the center of the stethoscope, slightly smaller than the main circles and glue it on.

Next, glue on the band aid. It's just a rectangle with rounded corners. Easy, peasy.

Cut a small heart out of the pink felt and glue it into the center. I also used a permanent marker to create the dots on the band aid.

There you have it! An easy, cheap and adorable Doc McStuffins stethoscope!

Now your little one can run around giving all of their toys and teddy bears check ups!

Check back soon because I have a couple more Doc McStuffins crafts coming up!
