We bought this awesome "Crack Open Geodes" kit at the Science Museum last Friday. It only cost $10 and I knew the boys would love it!

Whew! Today was a busy day! Go, go, go from the moment we woke up. First of all it was GORGEOUS outside. Most people south of Minnesota wouldn't think that, but for us that live in the frozen tundra we were extremely happy. We spent most of the day outside playing.

Pinterest gives me the best ideas ever. Most of these ideas involve David doing a lot of work. I'm not sure how he feels about that, but once I have my mind set on something, eventually I will get it. Usually it involves some pouting and lots of nagging, but I do get what I want, most of the time.

 When I was a teenager I painted my dresser. I had an obsession with clouds, stars, butterflies, etc. My dresser was boring and plain. I got an itch to paint it and I busted out my paints and went to town. Mind you I didn't have permission, but I rarely did when I was a teenager. I loved what I had created and it fit my room perfectly.
